Our Story

MalaSaña was born from the places that leave a mark.

Its name is inspired by the iconic Malasaña neighbourhood, a corner of Madrid full of life, culture and personality. A place with a very special energy, much like the one now taking root in El Realejo, the neighbourhood that has welcomed us.

But MalaSaña was also born from a personal story.

Jesús spent many years in that Madrid neighbourhood, where he built memories, friendships and experiences that would eventually inspire this project. It was also there that Natalia met his friend, who years later became the person who brought them together to bring this venture to life.

When the opportunity for this space appeared, everything began to take shape very naturally. What started as a shared idea ended up becoming a space created with enormous passion and hard work.

Two friends, one project.

Jesús brings the terrace to life, welcomes guests and turns every visit into something warm and familiar. Natalia leads the kitchen and the creative side, taking care of every dish and every detail that comes out of it.
